Toronto Tempo
To mark one year until tip-off, we partnered with the Toronto Tempo and Destination Toronto to launch Tempo LIVE—a two-day fan celebration at STACKT Market that transformed the space into a hub of basketball culture.
The Challenge:
The goal was to create more than just a pop-up—it needed to energize fans, highlight the team’s identity, and begin building a passionate WNBA community from the ground up.
The Approach:
We designed and fabricated branded archways, signage, and merch booths for Peace Collective, Roots, Nike, and The Give & Grow. Programming included Tempo Fan Camp presented by CIBC, offering pennant-making, tattoos, and a community banner, alongside Tempo Talks by Sephora Canada featuring Monica Wright Rogers, Jully Black, and Lilly Singh.
Engagement
The highlight was the “Tempo Challenge,” an interactive skills course where fans competed for opening game tickets while placing deposits on season tickets. These moments gave attendees their first real taste of the team’s vibrant energy.
Conclusion
Tempo LIVE didn’t just mark a milestone—it sparked excitement for Toronto’s first WNBA franchise and cemented the foundation for a loyal fanbase.
